Unite Escambia is looking for sponsors to contribute an $1,000 as part of the Inspiration for Escambia grant program. 

WHY SHOULD I SPONSOR AN INSPIRATION FOR ESCAMBIA GRANT?

The goal for Inspiration for Escambia is to encourage more members of the community to be involved in grassroots community change efforts. Your contribution will enable someone to put his or her good idea into action to improve a local neighborhood or school.

WHO CAN SPONSOR?

A sponsor could be comprised of multiple donors (for instance, five business partners). The sponsor or sponsor group would choose their priority of interest: Education, Environment, Health, Housing or Poverty (priority selection is first come, first served).

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Unite Escambia volunteers will work closely with sponsors during the grant review process and then will work with grant winners to implement successful projects that can be sustained. In each category, the category’s grant sponsor will choose the five best project submissions. Through online voting, the public will choose which of the five project ideas will receive the grant. Beyond choosing the finalists, a sponsor or sponsor group can be involved as much or as little as they would like.

RECOGNITION

At a minimum, sponsors will be recognized prominently on www.UniteEscambia.com and related social media pages. During the voting process, we expect to receive a large amount of Web traffic and media coverage. After the grant is awarded, the grant winner will be encouraged to find other ways to recognize the sponsor that made their project possible.
