Action Teams

Since there are many factors that contribute to poverty, there are also many solutions. The Poverty Solutions Team has formed 10 Action Teams in order to directly impact specific causes and create lasting change.

 

Poverty Information Group

Communicate with media orginizations in order to educate the community on the culture of class and it's impact on the community and poverty.

Circles Leadership Team
Become a member of the guiding coalition which provides leadership for the Bridges to Circles initiative.

Eliminating Explotation team

Educate the community about predatory lending.

 Faith Based Team

Equip faith communities using What Every Church Member Should Know about Poverty as they serve those in need through church ministry/outreach.

Political and Economic Structures Team

Help fund Bay Area Works and educate others on the importance of maintaining employment.

Human Social Capital Team

Research and advocate for the barriers experienced by people in poverty.

Education Team

Provide information about how poverty costs higher education. 

Volunteer Team

Join the Poverty Solutions Team and spread the word to the community!

Training Team

Provide Bridges Out of Poverty training throughout the community.

Resources Team

Secure funding, donations, and other resources to sustain the efforts of the Poverty Solutions Team and Bridges to Circles.
